Summer at Wrocław Stadium

 

 

 

In addition, there will be a kart track and a playground for the youngest (including a bouncy castle) on the Esplanade.

Go for karting between 2-6 pm completely for free. Our guests also get free access to the bouncy castles between 2 pm – 8 pm. The attractions will be available every day, except 5, 6 and 7 July as there is another event at the stadium then – The Event 2019 – Raceism (1,000 sports car shows from around the world).

You should know that the kart track and Giants’ Arena are located in a multi-level car park, and both are open throughout all summer and can be used for a fee (10-23 LeMans track, 11-21 Giants’ Arena).

The collection point for all the classes is one of the kiosks that are located on the side of  Lotnicza Str., next to a stand D. Instructors will wait for people willing to participate there (Remember, you should sign up to prior to the class. But you can also aks the instructors whether there still are available places). The instructors or volunteers will show you where the place of the class is.  There are activities you must register for before: lato@stadionwroclaw.pl

Summer at Wrocław Stadium – Schedule

Stadium Under The Microscope – it is an opportunity to see the stadium’s rooms that are not available on an everyday basis, learn the details of the stadium equipment or measure the pH of the turf.  The price of tour – 15 PLN.

Cycling Academy with AZS Wratislavia Sports Club  – a cycle of road cycling activities for children aged 9 to 13. Conditions of participation: no health contraindications for cycling. There is a possibility to rent MTB and road bikes for classes. In case, you want to rent a bike, there is a requirement of prior notification for a class. It is obligatory to have a crash helmet. It is recommended to use footwear without laces.

Football for the youngest – a series of football pieces of training conducted by Tomasz Burzyński, a former player. Today he works with young footballers at the Parasol Wrocław club. Classes for children from 6 to 12 years old. The program includes technical training, shooting, and mini 2×2 games.

Zumba workshops (max. 30 participants)

As part of the this activity, we prepare Zumba workshops in the open stadium area. These workshops are a great form of movement for the whole family. Regardless of the physical condition, everyone will have the opportunity to join the activity while listening to energetic music and under the supervision of professional instructors.

Handicrafts Academy (max. 10 people, children younger than 6 y.o. should come to workshops with a guardian)
During the workshops, participants will be able to learn various techniques – basic or advanced level – of artistic handicrafts. The workshops are directed to the whole family. Topics will include:
• Herbal mascots.
• Creating a mandala.
• Shibori – a Japanese technique for dyeing fabrics.

EKO Workshops (max 10 people, max. 10 people, children younger than 6 y.o. should come to workshops with a guardian)
As part of the planned workshops, we want to show participants how important ecology is in everyday life. During the classes, we will provide all participants with knowledge about recycling and upcycling, regardless of their age. The workshop topics will include:
• Creating dreamcatchers from feathers.
• Fans.
• Recycled instruments.

 Parent’s Academy (max 18 people)

During the workshops, we will discuss important topics related to communication, relationships, and education, in general. These workshops will provide parents with the knowledge and skills that they can be used in their everyday life. The planned workshops included:

• Communication with the child – education through relationships.
• Child’s independence – how to shape it? How to achieve it? How to support a child’s independence?
• Is it worth being a consistent parent? Workshop with positive discipline in the background.

Senior Academy  (max 18 people)

We will prepare meetings with important discussions about issues for seniors. The aim of it will be to raise awareness and increase the social activity of older people from Wroclaw and the surrounding area, broaden access to the educational offer and improve its quality and counteract the marginalization of seniors in the social sphere. During the planned workshops, the following topics will appear:
• Senior’s flow, or fall in love with life,
• A senior never gets bored,
• A senior who does not have to do anything anymore.

Outdoor Games at the Stadium (max. 13 teams – the team is parent/guardian + 1 or 2 children)

The games are directed to children and teenagers with their guardian. Their goal will be to show the history of Śląsk Wrocław and issues related to our Wrocław Stadium. As part of Outdoor games, children and teenagers will not only be able to broaden their horizons with new information but also visit the stadium and learn about its day-to-day functioning.

Guided tours – Wroclaw Stadium will be open from Monday to Friday. Meeting point is at the stadium reception desk (level 0) – under the esplanade (entrance W1).
The duration of the visit is about 45 minutes and the special holiday price is 10 PLN – payment is possible only in cash. Before coming to the stadium, check the CALENDAR page and make sure that the hours have not changed.

Wrock and Roll Roller Skating Workshops – free activities for those who take their first steps on skates – both children and adults. The condition is to have a helmet and protective apparel for sport. Classes will take a place on the Esplanade at the height of the stand B – entrance from Królewiecka Street. In case of unfavorable weather, they can be moved to the grandstand.

During the event “Summer at Wrocław Stadium”, access to the observation deck (tribune D) will be free between 10 am – 9 pm.
